Know My Name: Australian Women Artists 1900 to Now at the National Gallery of Australia
Know My Name: Australian Women Artists 1900 to Now showcases art made by women. Drawn from the National Gallery’s collection and loans from across Australia, it is the most comprehensive presentation of art by women assembled in this country to date. The exhibition proposes alternative histories, challenging stereotypes and highlighting the stories and achievements of all women artists.
If you can’t see this powerful show in person, you can take part in virtual events such as artist talks from Genevieve Grieves and Ex De Medici or curator discussions on fascinating topics. Part One of this exhibition will be on show until July 4th 2021. The much anticipated Part Two will open in late July 2021.

ABC Victoria has announced the winners of its annual Yard Art competition with the categories ‘Best Water Feature’, ‘Best Novelty Piece’ and ‘Best Sculpture’. From the whimsical and wild to the downright impressive, this is a delightful insight into some of Australia’s most artistic gardens. If you’ve got green thumbs too, we’d love to see your handiwork.

Streeton at the Art Gallery of New South Wales
