Jaimee Paul

Based in Gayamaygal country, the picturesque oceanside Northern Beaches of Sydney, Jaimee Paul creates Art for Purpose. Her practice aims to create positive and hopeful awareness that fosters custodianship and raises funds for nature and wildlife.
Born on a farm in the small town of Waitahuna, New Zealand, Jaimee grew up surrounded by animals, an upbringing that has had a profound effect on her career, influencing and informing her practice. As a result, she has committed to raising funds and awareness for animal groups and environmental charities through the sales of her artworks. Examples of recent donations include Rainforest Rescue, WIRES, Kangaroo Island Animal Rescue, Wim Hof Elephant Conservation Project, Manyana Matters, and Sea Shepard.
The M H Carnegie Fine Art NFT Fellowship Award has seen Jaimee’s artworks come to life through animation for the first time as she explores the digital art NFT world. Staying true to her primary monotone palette and collaborating with wildlife photographers, these multi-dimensional artworks come to life and support charities in a tangible and on-going way. Blockchain technology supports Jaimee’s dedication to creating Art For Purpose as a portion of every sale and resale will be directed in perpetuity to charities. The soft, gentle and meditative strokes in watercolour paint allows viewers to connect with these beautiful creatures, generating empathy and facilitating a connection, while creating tangible change in their blockchain-embedded donations. Jaimee’s artworks can be found in private collections in Australia and across the globe.
